North Face Camping Tents are simply one of the best around!
North Face camping tents are without a doubt one of the best camping tents you can buy today. The good folks at North Face are obviously experienced campers and know how to build rugged equipment at an affordable price. I own several tents to choose from when it comes to going camping but I almost always end up choosing my North Face Morraine 33. It’s pictured below. You can click on it to open a new window to check it out.
I’m very happy with mine. It’s what I personally would consider to be a three person tent but it packs down to a size small enough that you really could almost consider it to be a two person tent. It is super easy to set up. It’s a three pole tent so it has always been very resistant to wind. It has a nice high ceiling so it’s easy for doing things like changing your clothes etc, especially when compared to some other ‘ultralight’ tents that I’ve tried to camp in. It has entrances on each side of the tent with main entrance offering a sizable peg-out vestibule.
One thing that I really like about North Face camping tents is that they colour one of the peg straps on both the tent and the fly so that you don’t have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how the fly goes on, simply look for the yellow peg strap on the tent and for the yellow one on the fly and match them up. Perfect every time! Check them out below, they'll all open up in a new window so you can compare their features easily.
North Face camping tents also offer some of the best support you can find anywhere. On top of being durable and long lasting (if treated properly), their products are backed by North Face even years after you buy them. A good example of this is my brother. He bought a tent from North Face back in the late 80’s. Over the twenty or so years that he used the tent some of the grommets started to wear out. That’s a long time! He got in touch with North Face in 2010 he ended up sending the tent back to North Face to get a few of these things fixed. He couldn’t say enough good about North Face. Paid for the shipping and North Face replaced the grommets, and added a few gear “loops” to the tent free of charge. We’re talking twenty years later. That’s a very impressive sign of support and confidence in their product. I would recommend North Face camping tents to anybody looking for a serious back country or expedition type tent.
