What I do with my camping list is keep it somewhere safe so that I know where it is and I can add items to it anytime I wish to. By using the same list over and over I'm ensuring that nothing is being forgotten from trip to trip. I've even heard of some folks typing out a list and laminating it in plastic so it cannot be easily destroyed, excellent idea!
